Frequently Asked Questions

How did you start photography classes around Hampstead Heath?
I started Photograph the Heath through understanding a frustration by many photographers who have purchased a DSLR, but feel confused with excessive functions and do not feel confident in get the most out of their camera, therefore unable to realise the full potential it can offer them. With a little photography know how you will be surprised at how creative the photographic medium is. I started by offering classes involving a walk around the Heath combined with being guided through exercises to help in understanding techniques in exposure and the attributes of shutter speeds and aperture.
What kind of classes do you offer?
Through the summer I offer classes around the heath and have recently introduced street photography classes. Over the winter I put on Sunset and Sunrise classes and Night time Street Photography. Please contact me if you wish to be put on the mailing list to be contacted on new classes. I always listen to students feedback and introduce new classes
How often do you organise them and which ones are the most popular?
